DAMAC Lagoons

DAMAC Lagoons is a master community by DAMAC Properties in Dubailand, launched in November 2021 next to the developer's established DAMAC Hills community. The plan groups townhouses and villas into clusters themed on Mediterranean destinations, including Santorini, Venice, Portofino, Costa Brava, Nice, Malta, Morocco and Andalucia, with Santorini designed as the central hub. Lagoons edged with white-sand beaches run between the clusters, and Khaleej Times reported in September 2026 that the water bodies cover around 177,000 square metres. The community is moving from construction to everyday life: DAMAC handed over about 513 homes here in 2025 and is targeting around 6,300 in 2026, with infrastructure and landscaping more than 80 per cent complete. DAMAC Lagoons suits families who want a townhouse with a holiday atmosphere, and buyers looking for a first apartment in the newer Lagoon Views buildings.

DAMAC Lagoons sits inland in the Dubailand belt, with DAMAC Hills on one side and Tilal Al Ghaf about 1 km from the centre of the community. Measured in a straight line, Dubai Hills Mall, Expo City Dubai and Global Village are each about 10 km away, while Dubai Marina and Mall of the Emirates are about 11 km and 12 km away. The community is designed to keep much of daily leisure inside its gates. At launch, DAMAC described waterside cafés, gondola rides, a floating cinema, lagoon-facing infinity pools, kayaking and paddle surfing, ziplining, cycle trails, a skate park, a spa and a children's play area, spread across hubs with their own themes, such as Venice as the fun hub and Portofino as a work and play hub. For larger shopping trips, Dubai Hills Mall is the nearest of the big malls listed above, so most families will still use a car for errands beyond the community.
