Mackerel Tower, a Boutique Tower on Dubai Islands
Mackerel Tower is a compact residential building by Tarrad Development on Island A of Dubai Islands, the reclaimed island group off the Deira coast. It rises from a ground floor and a podium to eight residential levels, so it reads as a boutique address rather than a high-rise block.
The design is defined by soft white bands that wrap each floor and sweep diagonally from one level to the next, with planters trailing along the glass balustrades. A latticed screen clads the podium. It suits buyers who want a furnished home on the islands, from first-time owners to families.
Furnished Apartments and Penthouses at Mackerel Tower
The building mixes 1, 2 and 4 bedroom homes. The current release is 2 bedroom apartments of 1,290 sq ft, from AED 2,823,031. Floor plans show open kitchens, dressing areas beside the bedrooms and balconies on most units.
The top floor holds two 4 bedroom penthouses, each with its own swimming pool on a terrace beside the shared pool deck.
Every home is handed over fully furnished, with Siemens kitchen appliances, smart home controls and a light palette of marble-effect walls, pale timber and soft fabrics in the show renders.
Rooftop Pool and Wellness Amenities in Dubai Islands
Shared facilities are split between two levels. The first floor has a fitness room and an indoor kids' play area, and a running track loops around the podium landscaping at the same level.
Up on the eighth floor, a long pool sits on a timber deck with loungers, open showers, a seating area and a barbecue corner. Tarrad also lists an infinity pool, a zen garden, a rooftop garden, an outdoor yoga spot, a club room, EV charging and extra visitor parking.
The developer notes that the beach can be reached on foot.
Dubai Islands Location with Quick Links to Deira
The tower stands in the eastern part of Island A, close to the bridge that links the islands to Deira, with a school and hospital plot marked nearby on the community plan. The wider island group adds beaches, a marina and parkland.
Drive times are short for this side of the city: about 14 minutes to Deira City Centre and to Al Mamzar Beach Park, and roughly 15 minutes to Dubai International Airport and the Dubai Frame. Gold Souq Metro Station in old Deira is the closest metro reference for residents.
